Pearl Green picked up his fourth Group win in Macau when he destroyed his rivals in Saturday’s G2 Directors Cup over 1500 metres at Taipa.

A quick thinking move by Manoel Nunes sealed victory for the favorite Pearl Green in Saturday’s Macau Derby at Taipa.

It has taken nearly 12 months for last year’s SJM Macau Derby winner Turquoise Power to make it back to the winners circle, but the five year did it all in good style when he bounced back to form with a strong win over 1800m at Taipa last Saturday.

Visiting Irish jockey Wayne Smith took riding honours in Macau over the weekend, kicking home a treble of winners over the two days.
